Once you get used to the new mapping feature, you'll love it. I found out about it while playing on Flickr last night.
However, I have heard that the Yahoo maps used may not have the resolution in Europe that the U.S. have.

That David Byrne diagram made me laugh. It's as if Jeremy Deller were his teenage son, and DB's gone into JD's mental bedroom while he's out, tutting to himself, to give it a good tidy-up.

I bet David Byrne's subconscious really does look like that! Which isn't necessarily a bad thing.
Oh, and those Sensorama machines must have been amazing.

The Flickr geomapping works pretty well. Robert is right though, the resolution in Europe isn't so good. It only appears to map to main-road level, not smaller streets. I've geomapped several of my pics (username Pwdin) if you want to see how it works.
