Suvarnabhumi Airport, Bangkok

I thought this was some crazy sci-fi set but it's Suvarnabhumi Airport in Bangkok, from the astonishing Stuck in Customs which is full of amazing, hyperreal travel photography. Trey Ratcliff, the owner, is currently photographing Chernobyl.

I'm off to Bangkok at the weekend. Any hints or tips?

That guy is an HDR addict! Someone should call social services...

Anne, so near and yet so far! What brings you to (almost) this end of the world?
Bangkok is only somewhere I've ever flown through rather than visited as a destination in itself, but if you're still a committed vegetarian I'd avoid the markets.. full of stinky stinky meat and fish products!

Hi Liz. It's work again- training people from our Asia offices. Shame we don't have any Aussie ones!

Work? Anne will arrive in Bangkok just in time for this £15k-a-head gourmet foodie dinner:

Coincidence? I don't think so.

Well spotted Spud. I'm sure my expenses will cover it.

"Lingam Shrine" at Nai Lert Park in Bangkok, behind the Swissotel. Or as we like to refer to it: the Penis Fertility Shrine. Don't miss this very special photo op but treat with respect as there is always someone there praying.

Also, Turtle Mount (can't remember which shrine but on the other side of the river.

Don't not eat street food. The best in the world!

Oh fantastic. That's where I'm staying! Thanks Nina.

I also thought this was some crazy sci-fi set.Really amazing.
