"The four pockets were said to represent the Four Cardinal Principles cited in the classic Book of changes and understood by the Chinese as fundamental principles of conduct: propriety, justice, honesty, a sense of shame." Superb (via Sit down man, you're a bloody tragedy).

Hi Anne,
I thought of you yesterday when I read that Helvetica at 50 article.
Hope you and yours are all well.

Hi John
I'm more of a Clarendon girl these days, but it seemed churlish not to mention Helvetica's big day.
I tried to email you the other day to say hello but I'm having some problems with my normal mail. Hello anyway. We're all fine. How are you and yours?
A.
