Another art deco delight, like The Rogano, The Carron fell into disrepair in the 60s but has since been restored to its former glory.
Like the Willow Rooms of Glasgow, The Carron was instrumental in liberating the women of Stonehaven from domestic servitude, providing them with a meeting place outwith the home, in elegant surroundings that was socially acceptable. - Carron Art Deco Restaurant website
