God save little shops

All the photos here are of old things. Mostly old shops with old signs. Old cafes, old bakeries, old offices, old grocers, old art. Mostly from the 1950s and 1960s with a bit of leeway on either side if it was something that really caught my eye. A lot have been taken in Glasgow, the rest all over Scotland. I'm not sure why. I just like the old lettering, and old shapes and old terminology. Much as I love the modern world it's nice to look back sometimes.

Cafes Cafes, fish & chicken bars, tea rooms, grills, coffee lounges.	Bakeries Bakers, confectioners, cake shops.
Shops Ironmongers, fruiterers, greengrocers, fishmongers, sweet shops and fancy good stores.	Pubs Pubs, bars, public houses, whatever you want to call them.
Hairdressers Hair stylists, hair salons, hairdressing rooms, barbers etc.
